This article tells you how to activate your three-month free trial and prevent paying after a three-month free trial.
Apple Music is here for iPhone and iPad. If you want to download Apple Music on your iPhone/iPad, you need to update your operating system to iOS 8.4 or higher. Below is how (Here takes iOS 8.4 as an example):
Scroll down to “General” in Settings app and click on “Software Update”. To update successfully, you need 212 MB of space to download iOS 8.4.
iOS 8.4 has improved iBooks, allowing users to browse, listen to and download audiobooks from iBooks. Besides, the version fixes the “effective power” text bug that can cause a friend’s iPhone to crash if you send them some text.
Once you’ve update to iOS 8.4, your “Music” app will have a shiny new white and blue/red panel instead of the orange of previous versions.
Activate the program and you can choose to start a free trial for three months.
At the end of the trial, you must register to pay £9.99 a month (or a home version of £14.99). Once the trial period is over, Apple will begin billing you monthly (unless you switch to a cheaper annual plan, where you’d only pay once each year). Don’t worry, you can also choose to turn off the automatic renewal feature – you won’t actually be billed until after the trial ends.
Once you’re in, Apple will ask your favorite genre, then the artist.
Click on the bubble to expand it, then tap again to further expand it if you are really a fan of that particular artist or genre.
Once you are done, Apple Music will start recommending songs, albums and playlists tp you based on your preferences.
How to Prevent Paying after the Free Trial
You can get Apple Music for free for three months, but if you don’t do anything, you will start paying after that. When gaining access, you will have entered your Apple ID password, meaning that your bank card will be billed from three momths. Actually, if you don’t want to do this, you can turn off automatic renewal. Below is how:
Step 1. In the Music app, hit your profile in the top left corner of the screen.
Step 2. Hit “View Apple ID” and enter your passsword to go to your account options.
Step 3. Scroll down to subscriptions and press “Manage”
Step 4. Turn the “Automatic Renewal” option to off.
